There are a few sizes and locations of freeze plugs, larger ones on the sid of the block, and smaller ones on heads some hard to get at some impossible to get at without engine removal. Back side of engine between the flywheel and the block and back sides of the heads.

Ifd itl the enine needs to be removed, or the transaxle, usually done by raising the car, and lowering the cradle with engine and transaxke, then seperating them. Not a back yard job!
