The mass air flow sensor is in the engine air inlet ducting, between the air filter & the engine.

Mass Airflow (MAF) Sensor (3.8L)In right side of engine compartment, on rear of air cleaner assembly.
Mass Airflow (MAF) Sensor (4.6L)In right side of engine compartment, on rear of air cleaner assembly.
