I have a 2000 ford f-250 super duty turbo 7.3 diesel. In the summer when its hot outside the truck will start, but it seams to take a little time to do so! Help! Thank you for your kind attention! PS The truck does not run every day- It sits for weeks at a time. I used to start it every couple weeks. But because of this problem I am lucky to start it once a month Help again!

Check the fuel pressure at the regulator. Use ether to get it started and run a good injector cleaner through a vacuum line to clean the injectors. Pour a good fuel stabilizer in the tank. Diesel fuel doesn't like to sit very well.
