2000 Dodge Ram problem with my blinkers

So for some time now my blinkers only work when they want to. And when they do it will blink like once twice maybe three times and stay on its weird my hazards work fine. Can u help me look it says I have to type 200 words but I explained what I the problem was so

Quick answer either the flasher or the multi function switch (the turn signal switch on the steering Colum)

I would start by replacing the flasher.
