speedometer stopped working, engine light, and limp mode

Changed input and output speed sensors and the speedometer started working again, reset computer(disconnected battery) and engine light went away, but car will not shift out of 2nd gear.

Hi were you changeing sensors to repair this same shift problem or is this new?

the speedometer and engine light and non-shift all happened at once, after some research, i changed the 2 sensors, and now there is no engine light on, speedometer is fine, but car is still stuck in "limp mode"
