2000 Dodge Dakota

Very low heat. I think it is the heater core that is plugged. How can I check this?

See if both heater hose's going into the heater core are getting equally hot if they are then you are getting good flow thru the heater core. If one is hot and the other is warm or no where near that temp then I would look for a retstricted heater core.
