Engine runs rough at all RPM's. Was running well. Suddenly started running rough

Yes the check engine light has come on and gone back off.
If I accelerate fast the van has plenty of power.

Replaced ignition coil and plug wires. No help

Also scan codes showed multiple misfires.

Were the plugs changed? Have you checked fuel pump pressure as well as the regulator?

Now I have replaced coil, plugs and wires. Fuel pressure is about 55psi at fuel rail. Still no change in rough running.
When I changed plugs there was a raw gas smell in cylinders.

Have you checked the computer to see what trouble codes may still be stored? If I remember correctly, you should be able to do it without a scanner.

Cycle the key from off to the run position (not start) 3 times. The 3rd time, let the key on / engine off. It should read the codes in the odometer area.
