Where is thermostat located on chrysler concorde 2000

Follow the lower radiator hose to the metal pipe on the engine, lower left side. That pipe is on a plate that comes off after removing two bolts. The thermostat is behind that plate.

What's the symptom? Thermostats don't fail very often but it's the first thing people want to replace.
