not sure what to do but the 2000 chevy silverado 1500 truck that i have wont take in gas. we thought that it was the fuel pump so we replaced that and the fuel filter but the truck still wont start. what should we do know?

Check the fuel pressure using a inline pressure gauge.

how can you get pressure? We put in a new fuel pump and changed the filter...fuel pump will not ingage to build pressure what should we do from here?

this may be one that the harness is bad by the fuel pump. most replacement pumps came witha 12" harness and different connector. you'll have to see if the pump is getting power or not.
