I have no way of getting my motor out of my truck and I was wondering is there anyway that I can fix my freeze plug that is by the fire wall without taking the motor out.

Is it facing the firewall, or is it just on the rear of the motor near the firewall?

From what info I can find. It looks like you are going to have to remove the engine. Though I would also see if you could access it from removing the transmission.

I think I can do it if I remove the transmission I just don't know how to go about doing that by myself. Can you give me a little info on how to get it done that way please.

Hi:
Can you tell where the leak is? Are you sure it's a freeze plug? If so, you should be able to get to it. The are on the engine block and hard to get to, but it can be done.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Joe
