My chevy monte carlo is not getting power from the starter to the silonoid. I just bought a new battery and power is getting to the starter.

Power goes from starter solenoid to starter. The purple wqire at the starter solenoid should be hot/ voltage with key in the crank position. If it isn't, we'll have to backtrack the circuit. You do have a crank relay. Any testing, make sure the tranny is in park or neutral and the e-brake is set.
