Brake lights aren't working, checked fuses, checked bulbs, I am broke and just need to know where to look next?

Do you have a multimeter to do some testing?You will need one one to trouble shoot the problem.

I will see if my landlord has one, I'm not even sure where to begin with one of those, think I am going to need a mechanic
