2000 Chevrolet Blazer sluggish at start

Any time of year hot or cold get in my vehicle and starts fine but if I just take right off it is very very sluggish for 20- 30 secs then picks right back up and runs perfect. If I let it idle for 5 mins takes off perfect.

Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked the coolant temp switch?

No it has not flashed check engine light. What do I need to check on that switch? Thanks

It should have set the check engine light. To check it, you need a scanner that reads live data so you can actually see what info is sent to the PCM.
