Rough take off backfired through intake, struggles up hill, ok during mid range, lack of performance 2000 Chevy blazer. No check light, tested all sensors communications, replaced pump 58 psi, fpr, total tune up, checked timing, tapped pcm (no glitches) one day is good on fuel next time it would suck it down. Three month it this. Counted lots of treads same issue, but no answer.

Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Any black smoke from exhaust? Have you checked the catalytic converter for plugging?

The earlier ones had a lot of trouble with the spider (injectors under the plennum. That is the first thing I would be checking. Also, double check the intake for vacuum issues.
