2000 Cadillac Catera 00 Catera( low miles)

I am thinking about purchasing this 00 Cadillac Catera I asked him what is wrong with the car because the car is at one of those buy here pay here places and I do not want to buy a lemon. He said the car runs for about fifteen minutes then the car shuts off he think it is the fuel pump if it is not the fuel pump what could it be?

It could still be pump, it will get hot and quit working. Just a tip the Catera was the highest warranty problem car ever produced for Cadillac. I'd look at another car if I were you unless you absolutely love this car.
