Car seems to be switching gears rough as I accelerate but not like a tranny issue. Stops once I turn car off for a few minuets and then runs perfectly. When im at a light after maintaing a certain speed it almost feels likea********/vibration as it switches gears. The******** reminds me very much so of the way a broken mount. Ive read that the conputers cant keep up with the car so turning it off resets it and it begins to run the way its supposed to. And thats exactly what mine does.

Check engine light is on. A faulty air pump was one of them. Could that be causing this issue.

Im a single ****** of a newborn I dont want to have to stress about major repair costs

Codes its throwing are : P0410 & P0742 Im thinking overall it maybe the TCC solenoid because when the car is just started (cold) it runs perfect but after 25 min+ it begins to shift strange but no like a transmission issue. Again it feels more like a broken mount, almost fells as though its going to stall once it******. I dont force more power into accelerating as I dont want it to. Cause further. Issies. So.I try to maintain a steady speed untill the******** goes away, which it does vut while in traffic the stopping and going seems to make it happen once again. Once I shut the car ofd and take the key out, the car runs perfect! And again the same problem.

Also I have a small oil leak im thinking that could be the pcv valve (possibly).

This is what I know just from having a code machine hooked up. Is it possible that these codes are wrong or are they fairly accurate? Ive never been in a situaion where the codes were wrong and it was something other then what the codes say.

The P0410 means there is failure somewhere in the air injection system. It would be really helpful to have a scan tool that can read live engine data to help trouble shoot the problem. Also the p0742 could be a solenoid circuit or computer issue. Both problems have to be trouble shooted.

I beleive its a TCC solenoide. Has it put on a diagnostic machine today. That was the obly readibg that poped up. But I was told that it wasnt the converter itsself that I was just the sensor. Is that possible? I dont know very mucj about cars except that most buicks share some of the same issues. I dont want to be rebuildong my transmission when its likly that- thats not even the answer. And computer issue? You mean I may have to replace the computer?
