The tachometer only works when I hit high revs

Hi I have a Vauxhall corsa 1.2 Vreg. The rev counter doesn't work untill you get up to hi revs. It works perfectly on a hot day. The same with the electric window in the drivers side. Will only go down a bit at a time then on a hot day works perfect. Can you help please

Sounds like the tach needs to be replaced. A scan tool can verify an rpm reading from the pcm. If it has it, then it is a faulty tach.

As far as the window, I would replace the window motor.
