What was happened to a starter motor if need to be hit by hammer in order to start?

Depends on the symptom. If it makes a single rather loud clunk each time you turn the ignition switch to "crank", it has worn contacts in the solenoid. Many hardware stores, farm and home supply stores, and auto parts stores have kits to replace them on Chrysler products. Toyotas use the same contacts that are in the Chrysler kits.
