1999 2.2L camry. Do the spark plug tubes screw out of the head and what seals them at the bottom in the head?

They a made into valve cover and has 4 seals at bottom of tube come with valve cover set

I believe this one is designed differently. The 4 tubes stick up through the valve cover and there are 4 nuts with seals that thread onto them to hold the cover on.
