Windshield Wipe and Windshield washer keep running without turning it on

I am using 1999 Toyota avelon. One day I was driving on freeways and suddenly my Wiper and washer fluids keep running without turning it on. I removed fuse for wiper and it stopped but when ever I plug fuse in it starts with that and keep running. Could you please tell me what is the problem? It also makes some motor noise. Wipers are keep running I can not shut off. It only turn off when I turn of my car. Thank you for your help

It sounds like the, "MIST" function has gone bad in the wiper/washer switch.
The whole switch will need replacement. Sometimes you can find wiper switches from an aftermarket company. Otherwise, you will have to go to a dealership to get one.
