Turn left it wants to bind plus klunks. Sit still and turn left it hard and the front left side lifts up a little. If I back up and turn slow the van wants to stop about half way left. Wondering if strut mount was gone.

The position of the tire can cause the vehicle to raise a little. As far as it being hard to turn, it could be ball joints or strut mount. However, it could also be a bad rack and pinion.
