Hello,

The Security pass lock system is a part of the body control module (BCM).
So, the BCM needs to be replaced in order to replace the pass lock system.
The BCM is located below the right side of the instrument panel (see diagram below).

The BCM does need to be programmed to the vehicle after replacement, otherwise it will not function correctly.

I have attached the replacement and re-programing instructions for your reference.
