I need to bypass the antitheft system on an Alero, it won't stay running

The key was lost, someone took the ignition assembly out and I need to be able to drive it

Without the key, it is very tough as you need to measure the resistance of the chip to add a needed resistor.

You may have to resort to a dealer for this operation
