When I turn the heater on in my car at times it smells like something is burning and I don't know what it could be.

Is the vehicles temp gauge in the hot area?

No it sn't. I t doesn't smell like antifreeze and the sell is more like burning, I dont want to say oil, but maybe metal. I don't know if maybe it's linked to a sound I hear coming from the neater core. Cause when I turn on the car it makes a pretty loud sound that seems to come from there. The sound goes somewhat down when I turn the ac on. So hopefully this gives you a better idea
