Car wont stay Running.

My nissan runs great until you put it in a forward gear. When you hit the gas to go forward, the car drives to accelerate and then the rpms drops off but they go back up and then bounce the whole time like a rev-limitar. Does not do this in park, neutral or reverse. A local mechanic can not figure out why it is doing this.

You sure transmission is not slipping -if not check/test TPS and VSS sensors-also check fuel pressure

Check for vacuum leakages, especially the air intake hose. Bad engine mounts would cause the engine to move backwards when shifting to forward gears and this can open up leakages in cracked air hoses causing the problem.
