How do you install a rear wheel hub and bearing assembly? Is it press fir or will the locking nut press it in place?

If your car has independent rear susension you will have to remove the hub and have the bearing pressed in and out by a reapir facility. If it is a straight axle you can remove the bearing with a slide hammer and then tap the new one in with a socket of the same sixe or a seal /bearing driver.
