1999 Lexus RX 300: When I start up if I dont give it gas it die out, once I start driving it kicks and jump as it change gears once it change into high gear it run fine if I slow down or stop at a light it does the same thing all over again. The CEL was on but I change the battery before I got to Auto Zone and now they can't get a code without the CEL. Any thoughts.

After rugnning the vehicle, the CEL should come on again if there are ay faults.

Seems the idling speed is too low causing the problem.

Idle speed is no adjustable. Cleaning the throttle body and IAC should solve the problem of low idling speed.
