front drive shaft

can i take out my front drive shaft of '99 jeep grand cherokee limited 4 wheel all time and still drive everyday?

Imma CJ guy, I know you cannot do that with CJs with QUADRATRAC, Nor can you put locking hubs on them. They won't even move if you do this. Their transfer case transfers the torque to the front end...There's Nothing to do except rotate a "Dead" Axle or yoke...Much like having a standard axle and dropping one wheel off in a hole...I think yours works the same.......To be absolutely POSITIVE, call a Jeep Dealer (I do not trust "Hearsay" Either!
