My Trooper is smoking and when I put my foot on cluch it cuts out

My isuzu trooper is smoking a lot after its been idling for a while and when it warms up I put my foot on the clutch it cuts out also the engine check light flickers on. Can you please help.

You need to have the codes read first. Most auto parts stores will do this for free.
It sounds like you might have a misfire. Most of the time when the check engine light flashes it is caused by a misfire.

HI THERE JUST TOUGHT I WOUNLD LET YOU NO THAT I HAVE SOLVED THE PROBLEM, I NOTICD THAT THE CRANK SHAFT PULLY WAS MOVING OUT ABOUT HALF AN INCH WHEN I PUT MY FOOT ON THE CLUCH, WOUNLD IT BE POSSIBLE TO REPLACE THE BUSHES BY REMOVING THE SUMP
