I have a 1999 Honda Civic LX, I also have a 2000 Honda Accord. The problem. I was able to start my Civic by accident with my Accord key (not sure how that could happened). Now the problem I can not turn the key to the off position and take out my key. I disconnected the connections at the distributor and then disconnected the battery to stop the car but not able to turn the key to remove it. Any ideas about what to do next?
Thanks CAS

Sometimes you can pull the key straight out. But there is a high chance of damaging the tumblers. You might have to get a new ignition or have a lock-smith "pick it" back to "off". I would suggest going to a Honda dealer and have it checked.

Thanks Mike, after working with it for a while longer. I was able to wiggle it out, Now my problem is which order the spark plug wires go onto the distributor. I just pulled them off to stop the engine and now not sure what order they go in.
