1999 Honda Accord tempeture gauge

The car runs fine. I start and let it warm up, the heater works great and temp gauge is normal. But when I take off down the hiway the gauge drops all the way and blows cool air. Shouldn't be thermostat since it does heat up, seems the coolant just gets cold idk.

Check coolant level first. If low have coolant system pressure checked for internal leak

The thermostat could be stuck at open position. I would replace the thermostat first due to the age of the vehicle.
