I just recently purchased a 99 Honda Accord coupe 4cyl Vtec and I have a few issues. The major one is that my cruise control isn't working, neither is my horn and my SRS light stays on. I've been told that these issues are all related but i'm hard pressed to find any information about them. Also my driver door won't unlock with the key or key fab and the door switch won't work to unlock either door.

For the door you may have ot remove the panel and see if a clip has broken or fallen offone of the rods. They can be plastic and break after a while. As for the horn and cruise check your fuses first they are underhood it's fuse 47 and it supplies power to the horn relay so that may be the problem. There is also fuse 6 &9 underdash for the cruise. Check all those first. Beyond that it can be a brake switch or module so should be professionally looked at. Also for the horn it cold also be the relay which is in the underhood fuse box as well. If more thatn that it's either horns are bad aor a shorted wire. The srs is for your air bags so should be scanned for codes to see what the problem is.

SRS light staying on, horn and cruise control not working are an indication that the cable reel under the steering wheel is disconnected or bad.

If you do not hear any noise of the door lock actuator inside the driver door moving when door switch is acticated, either the actuator or its wiring is bad.

Yes it was the cable reel that was bad. I replaced it and now my cruise control works and my horn. I just need to get my srs switch reset so it will go off.
As for the door when you hit the unlock/lock switch you can hear it click from the passenger side fuse panel. But it rarely does anything, every once in a while the passenger side will unlock and lock but then it stops. But the drivers side door can only be manually unlocked/locked from the inside, the key won't even work in the door.

Seems like the door lock actuator is bad and you would need to remove the door panel to check.

For the SRS, there must still be something wrong for the light not to go off. Get a scan to check for trouble codes.

I've had it scanned 3 times at the obdII port. And they never show code for the srs light. I had read online that you could unplug the srs cable under the dash and the was a reader you could plug into it, so you could read and reset it. But thank you for all your answers. The only other question would be if you know of what other models or cars
would use the same actuator.

If you took it to an auto parts they can't read for the srs you need a pro scanner for that so a mechanic will have to do it.

Actuators are vehicle specific but you can try the Oddeysey.
At the fuse box there is a Yellow Diagnostic connector for the SRS. Jumping it with a clip or wire and turning the ignition switch on would allow you to read the codes.
