What do u mean check engine compression how is that done & what do u think

Hello,

Generally speaking, an engine will need spark, fuel and proper compression to be able to start.
Low/no compression can lead to no start of the engine.

The compression can be checked easily with a compression test gauge. Typically, those test kits can be rented from your local auto parts store.

In order to test the compression, you will have to remove spark plug(s) from the engine and install the test gauge on the spark plug hole. Then crank the engine to measure the compression. It is recommended to remove the fuel pump fuse/relay before performing the compression test to prevent the engine from getting fuel and starting.
