Loud grinding

I have a problem I hear and feel a loud grinding under the floor board of the drivers side. I just had my brakes and calipers done and was told that its not the problem? Please help If I get a alignment done will this help?

ONE SIDE OR THE OTHER?

DOES THE SOUND CHANGE WITH SPEED/ BRAKING/ TURNING?

IS IT CONSTANT. JUST WHILE MOVING?

START OUT FAINT?---HOW LOUD?---HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN GOING ON?

CHECK YOUR U-JOINTS ---IF YOU HAVE 4X4, THERE ARE 8 U-JOINTS

BE LEVEL--CHOCK BOTH SIDES OF YOUR TIRE. EMERGENCY BRAKE ON! BE IN NEUTRAL TO TEST EACH ONE
