I have a 1999 Taurus it just shut off on me while driving before it would shut off it will start shaking a lil then oil light comes on then it cuts off and won't want to start sometimes not even with a jump. I recharged the battery 2 days later and it turned on but again it wanted to cut off. I changed the oil cause it barely had any and the car has not shut off yet. So what I'm asking is does it have a safety feature that will cut car off when there's no oil

I don't think this car has any such shutoff. I think the problem is something else. I would start by having the alternator and battery tested.

OK The next thing to have checked is the fuel pressure. You should also get an inline spark tester to hook up to see if it is losing spark when it dies.
