Engine sends antifreeze to overflow bottle but doesn't draw it backto radiator

Check the rubber seal on the bottom of the radiator cap. Pressure pushes the coolant past the cap into the reservoir, then, when the engine cools down, vacuum draws the coolant back into the engine, but if that seal is leaking, air will just get drawn in instead.
