I have a question, I have a 1999 Ford F-250 super duty 4x4 with a 5.4 L v-8, the 4r100 transmission went out and I found a transmission from a 2000 expedition 4x4 with 5.4L v-8 and a 4r100, Will it work or is there something different about the super duty? I have asked many people this and keep getting conflicting answers? Please help!

As long as its the same model trans which it its it should work no problem. All 250-550 use the same trans if the pan gasket looks like pic between 99 and 2000 there is abolt in operation. The only difference there would be if the expedition had a different engine then there may be a torque converter difference for engine balance.
