I have replaced the worn belt tensioner but noise is still there, I believe the bearings in the AC are causing the noise. Can I bypass the AC by changing the belt and tensioner roller and keeping the current tensioner? I have the V/8 4.6L engine. Thank you

You can check at a parts store for an ac bypass that is a bracket that replaces the ac compressor and you will keep your original belt and all will be good till you replace the compressor.
