ZX2 A/C blower fan will not go into highest speed

I've seen many questions and answers regarding the fan only working in high speed, but my fan will not go into high speed (I'll call 4). It will work in positions 1, 2, and 3 just fine (or should I say, low, low-medium, high-medium?). Does that seem like a relay issue like some of the other blower issues, or something else?

That's probably a bad switch but should be tested first.

I pulled the connector on the resistor to test the switch and the switch seemed to be working. As it turns out, the connector on the resistor looked like it had overheated at one time, melting the connector a little. The connection was a little corroded and all I did was cleaned the connectors on the plug and the resistor a little and it started to work.

I guess that would make sense. The reason I didn't suggest the blower resister in the first place is because an internal problem with the resister effecting high speed would have also taken out the lower speeds but an external plug problem would not. Glad you found the problem.
