1999 Ford Escort idle

I have a 1999 ford escort I just bought. It runs great I drive it daily. I has a rough idle after it warms up for a min. It will start to idle up and down even so low some times it acts like it going to cut off. What do you think could cause this? And there is no check engine light on.

Heloo, I also have 1999, model 2000, but mine is ford escort 1.8td, with 183,000 kilometers on, and also I have a rough idle after it warms up for a min or 2. And there is no check engine light on. Do you find what is the problem, for this condition. Do you have MAF sensor on it? At the first time rough idle was even when engine starts, after a lot of reading, I found out that the problem maybe this MAF dirty sensor, I cleaned up with CRC CONTACT CLEANER by suggestion, and now I have the same thing what you have. CHeck for vacuum leaks. Check idle air control valve.
