My van makes a high pitched squeel I've recently put a new water pump tentioner assembly and belt it didn't make a sound for about 8 months its back now and gets louder when I rev it up how do I fix it

Has the belt gotten loose? Maybe the belt tensioner went bad again.

The belt came off once I cleaned it put it back on the reason it came off is because someone told me to rub a bar a soap on the underside of the belt found out that's not the thing to do
