Alternator replacement

I took our 99 dodge caravan in to a garage to get the alternator tested. It tested bad, so I decided to try replacing it myself. Seemed simple enough. I'm now into the job, and can't get the old one out. The bracket holding the alternator is in the way! The Chilton manual says remove the bracket, but I've taken out all visable bolts and the bracket still won't come out. Is there a hidden bolt somewhere I'm not seeing? It's the v6, 3.3 liter, grand.

Sounds like it or it's just tight fit to block?

Do you have access to any diagrams of the bolt configuration for the alternator mount bracket for this model engine? Chiltons doesn't.

I know there are supposed to be 3 bolts 1 on top, 2 on side.
