Is the check engine light on?

New or used unit?

Why did you replace the old unit?

Check engine light was on with no start. Wasn't getting spark. Changed ecu started right up engine light went off. It is a rebuilt preprogrammed ecu from auto zone. Car turns on and runs but as soon as key goes to off position it humms from what sounds like ecu. It will humm until battery dyes

You may have a bad pcm. Re mans can be issues from the re builder. I would spend the extra money and get a new one from chrysler.

Start there
