Underneath the car where the engine and transmission bolt up is the cover for the flywheel and it is covered in oiland got a pretty good drip to it. If it is the main seal do I need to pull the transmission or just move it out the way enough for room?

Hello,

Ok, would be easier to remove it since need room to work to get flywheel off and to get tools in there to remove and replace the Seal.

I have never used and extra sealant and have never (knock on wood) had a problem. I know some places will use a sealant on the new seal. I will leave that up to you but if you do but would use a sealant resistive to oil, Black RTV Sealant.
