I was driving my Tahoe and it just cut off and I was able to start it back up and I was driving and it cut off again but didn't start back up I thought I had run out of gas and my fiance walked to the gas station to get some gas after he put the gas in the truck still didn't start. The lights went dim and I even tried to get a jump and was not successful. I went and bought a new battery and it still doesn't start when I turn it on to start it it makes the sound like it's out of gas.

Scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it. Should be 60-66psi with key on
