Battery won't hold a charge when in vehicle. is fine when disconnected. drawing from somewhere, how can I pin point the problem?

disconnect the positive cable and hook up a test light between the battery and cable. pull fuses one at a time to isolate the area. but , alot of times this is the ABS unit so pull the plug on it and see if that is it. They can be rebuilt or replaced. ther eis a place in florida that does it for under $200 i think. Or you could get one from a junkyard.
