My seville's tail light went out. I tried changing it and realzied that my whole entire tail light cover was filled with water. Water got on the cables that control the tail lights, and now each time the lights on, the wire starts to smoke/burn. What should I do/buy?

You can go to AutoZone and purchase some electrical cleaner for plugs and wiring, and spray the plugs down really good. This evaporates and should displace the water. Then I would also use an air hose to blow what you could. Leave the area open to air dry and see how that does.

IF YOU ARE SORTA IN A BIND IN DOING THE "PERFECT REPAIR" TO KEEP THE WATER OUT, YOU MIGHT DRILL A SMALL HOLE IN AN INCONSPICUOUS LOW PLACE ON THE TAIL LIGHT HOUSING TO LET IT DRAIN, SHOULD ANYMORE GET IN
