I hit the unlock button on my remote and the lights came on, and the door unlocked. I put the key in the ignition and turned it. There is absolutely no power, no sounds, no lights, nothing. The remote wouldn't even lock/unlock the car. The key got stuck when I tried to take it out. I got the key out after about 20 minutes of trying. Charged the battery the next day, used the spare set of keys to start the car. The car started, drove it around the parking lot. Then went to shut it off, key got stuck and now there is no power yet again.

The first thing I would do is have the battery tested and make sure the battery cable's are clean and tight. Then have the alternator tested. Let me know what you find.

I think the battery is fried. Managed to get it started today, but security light came on in car. As soon as I turned the car off, there was no power yet again. Going to get a new battery tomorrow. Will let you know more then. Also, the ignition moves with out the key, and you can take the key out of the ignition with the car running.

Let me know what you find after you have the battery tested and take care of that.A worn out key will allow you to remove the key while it is running. SO if you put the lock cylinder in the lock position and remove the key the cylinder while turn without the key?
