Do you know what would cause a fuel injected car to cut out when you try to start her unless you lightly touch the gas pedal? I have tryied changing the mass air flow sensor because when I try to start my car it won't start unless I lightly touch the gas pedal

Idle air control valve, throttle position sensor. I've been answering a lot of these same problems lately.

The IAC valve should be right on the throttle body. It's kind of small, has two bolt holes holding it on and a plug/wires going to it. They're about $30 from autozone. You should have the car scanned for free at the parts store to see if any codes come up before purchasing anything. Note though, I have found the IAC valve to be bad even if it wasn't showing me any codes.
