I cannot open the hood and believe that the cable has broken.
I have had the car in a garage but they were unable to either pull the cable from the release switch or access the cable any other way. They tried through the RHS wheel arch but could not access it.
Can you confirm that there a two release mechanism on in the centre and the other on the RHS.
Do you have any advice on how to get the hood open without damaging the car?
Would you recommend using the Firkin fireman's hood release bar?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

we have no information at all on these cars but when this happens there are normally panels on the bottom of car to take off so you can access the release. The fireman/s tool may damage the car , never saw one. if lucky you might access through grill but will take some time either way to get to it.

Thanks for your quick response but this does not answer my question.
I really need advice from someone who has dealt with this problem on a Bentley Arnage 1999 so that I can get the problem dealt with.
